Cooking with Jam sounds odd at first, but our product is a great substitute wherever fresh fruits are needed. Because our products are not cooked when they are made, they retain the natural flavors you need to make your favorite meals sing. Our apricot jam specifically makes a great ingredient for a tangy dressing or sauce. Some of our favorite recipes are shown below.  | Sunfresh Apricot Orange Sauteed Mushrooms
Ingredients: 3-4 Tbsp. chopped onions 1 Tbsp. olive oil 1 Tbsp. butter 5-6 mushrooms sliced 1 tsp chopped garlic 1 Tbsp. SUNFRESH Apricot Orange Marmalade Splash white wine Squeeze of lemon 1 Tbsp. sour cream Instructions: Carmelize onions in olive oil Add garlic, butter, mushroom, marmalade, and saute until mushrooms are done Splash wine, squeeze lemon. Ingredients: 3-4 Tbsp. chopped onions 3 Tbsp. SUNFRESH FREEZERVES Apricot-Orange Marmalade Juice from 1/2 lime Zest from 1/2 lime Institutional Recipe 1 lb SUNFRESH FREEZERVES Apricot-Orange Marmalade Juice from 4 limes Zest from 4 limes

Ingredients: 1 tsp fresh chopped garlic 1 tsp Dijon mustard 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (crushed) 4 oz olive oil 3 oz balsamic vinegar 1 Tbsp. SEEDLESS Raspberry Freezer Jam 1 Tbsp. sour cream Fresh ground pepper
OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS 1 Tbsp. grated parmesan or romano cheese 1 tsp anchovy paste a few drops of sesame oil
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients and whisk until blended. Continue whisking after adding each of the remaining ingredients. The result should be a creamy brown, savory dressing. | | | |  | Sunfresh SEARED AND BAKED CHICKEN BREAST with garlic, sage, and Apricot Orange Marmalade FREEZERVES
Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts with bones and skin on 4 tsp. SUNFRESH Apricot Orange Marmalade 1 lg garlic clove, chopped 1 full Tbsp. fresh sage, chopped 1 Tbsp. olive oil
Instructions: Pre-Heat oven to 350° Mix the marmalade, garlic, and sage. With your fingers, loosen the skin from the chicken breast to form a pocket. Put a tsp. of marmalade mix into each of those pockets. In an oven safe skillet on med-hi, add the olive oil and sear the breasts skin side down, until golden brown. This takes 5-10 minutes. Turn chicken skin side up and bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes. Serve with Risotto, Rice, or Garlic Mashed Potatoes. |
